Position Title: Verification Specialist

Overview:

The Verification Specialist’s primary responsibility is to oversee the process of sending and
receiving verification packets from the candidates as well as verifying all information contained in
the verification packet. In addition, they will create the presentable CV and provider summaries needed to present a candidate to a client.

Responsibilities:

  • Send packets to physicians
  • Check packets into the system
  • Create and update presentable CV and provider summary
  • Verifying all license, certifications, education, work history and past malpractice history
  • Type references for facilities
  • Assist Recruiters
  • Complete special projects and other functions as required
  • Support risk management team members as needed
  • Contact the boards for certification of licensure
  • Speak with physicians when assisting them to complete their packets
  • Contact medical staff offices, insurance carriers, schools and residency programs

  • Ability to be creative in problem solving
  • Ability to adapt and multitask
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Microsoft Word and Outlook are preferred
