Shannon Penney currently serves as a Senior Director for Delta Locum Tenens and prior to that was Vice President for Delta Physician Placement. Shannon has over five years of physician recruiting experience within both the retained and contingent business models, and is published often on topics pertaining to physician recruitment and compensation trends. Prior to joining Delta Physician Placement, he served as Director of Recruiting with Liquid Medical Recruiting, also of The Delta Companies.
Before his career as a physician recruiter, Shannon spent ten years in the information systems industry selling software solutions.
Shannon received his bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
